Role Overview:
You will be joining the dynamic IT team as a skilled and motivated System Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining IT infrastructure to ensure the smooth operation of the systems, networks, and servers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup and administration of OS Windows, MacOS, Linux, assets management, networking;
- Backup systems administration (setup, regular checks, storage management, destruction);
- OS updates installation and checks;
- Employee technical support;
- Installation and setup of predefined software;
- Office equipment and network devices setup and maintenance;
- IT Security management and maintenance;
- Employees devices purchases, setups, maintenance and updates;
- Malfunction and issues solving and prevention;
- Device lifecycle maintenance.
Ideal profile for the position:
- Linux/Windows/MacOS client and server OS administration.
- Installing and configuring hardware and software components;
- Repairing or replacing damaged hardware;
- Basics of networking technologies, including TCP/IP protocols, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc;
- Backup and recovery tools: Acronis Backup or similar;
- Upgrading systems to enable compatible software;
- Installing and upgrading antivirus software;
- Testing, evaluating and implementing new technologies, hardware and software;
- Virus removal techniques and practices;
- Defining software, hardware and network requirements;
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues;
- Writing technical instructions for employees;
- Basic experience in Jira administration;
- Proficient in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines efficiently;
- Attentive to the smallest details;
- Skilled in analyzing problems and finding innovative solutions;
- Upper-intermediate level English is a must.
