Role Overview:
The Fraud Manager will oversee the detection, prevention, and management of fraudulent activities across the online casino and sportsbook. This role requires a deep understanding of fraud schemes, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will proactively develop strategies to minimize risk while ensuring a seamless user experience.Key Responsibilities:

Fraud Prevention & Detection:
- Monitor and analyze customer transactions to detect suspicious activities;
- Use fraud detection tools and systems to mitigate risks in real-time;
- Develop fraud rules and ensure they align with evolving fraud trends.

Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Perform in-depth analysis of fraud cases and generate actionable insights;
- Prepare regular reports on fraud metrics, trends, and operational effectiveness.

Team & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with business, compliance, payment, and IT teams to improve fraud prevention measures;
- Work closely with customer support to resolve user account issues related to fraud.

System & Process Optimization:
- Recommend and implement advanced fraud detection systems;
- Conduct periodic reviews of fraud processes and identify areas for improvement.

Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements specific to online gambling and sports betting;
- Stay updated on global and regional laws, including AML and KYC guidelines.
Ideal profile for the position:
- 3-5+ years of experience in fraud prevention or risk management, preferably in online gaming or sportsbook environments;
- Strong understanding of fraud schemes in the online casino and sportsbook industry;
- Familiarity with KYC, AML, GDPR, and other relevant regulatory frameworks;
- Proficiency in fraud detection tools, payment gateways, and chargeback management systems;
- Analytical mindset with a strong ability to interpret data and detect patterns;
- Hands-on experience with SQL, data visualization tools, and risk management software is a plus;
- Being detail-oriented and highly organized;
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities;
- Strong communication skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
