What You Will Do:
As a key part of the Quality Assurance Team, a QA Tester’s main responsibility is to ensure that the software or application being developed meets the quality standards set by the organisation. A well-qualified candidate will be someone who is able to work independently to analyse on-screen events against pre-defined expected outcomes and communicate in a clear and concise way any deviation or defects and any steps required to repeat them.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the development of interactive and compelling Casino games and Systems;
- Helping to develop test cases and test plans for software or applications;
- Executing test cases and reporting any defects or issues found;
- Collaborating with developers and other stakeholders to ensure the quality of the product;
- Participating in software design and development reviews to provide feedback on potential quality issues;
- Identifying, analysing and reporting product defects and tracking them to closure;
- Conducting regression testing to ensure that defects are fixed and do not recur;
- Maintaining test documentation such as test cases, test plans, and test scripts;
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality and testing processes.
What you'll need to have:
- Enthusiasm for the products being produced by the Company;
- 2+ years of experience in software testing or in a heavy product-related field;
- Strong understanding of, or willingness to learn, testing methodologies, tools and processes;
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools would be preferable;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment;
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participation in team brainstorming;
- Contributing to the review of games and features;
- Contributing to the evolution of the team’s processes and best practices;
- Undertake some customer support duties.
