Junior+/Middle QA Engineer

Our client is looking for a Junior+/Middle QA Engineer.

Role Overview:

In this role, you will partner with development and product teams to maintain high quality and reliability across partner integrations, payment flows, and core platform functionality. You will also contribute to validating and supporting the migration toward a microservices architecture, ensuring smooth and stable system performance throughout the transition.

Key Responsibilities:

Manual Testing: Functional and UI/UX testing of web applications;
Log Analysis: Investigating and resolving issues using logs to identify root causes;
Complex Challenges: Solving complex testing challenges that require a creative and analytical approach;
API Testing: Performing API testing and handling sophisticated integration scenarios;
Test Documentation: Creating and maintaining test cases, checklists, and bug reports;
Requirements Analysis: Reviewing specifications and providing early feedback to identify logic gaps.

Required Skills & Experience:

Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in QA;
Testing Core: Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and manual functional testing;
Technical Background: Good understanding of client-server architecture and web technologies (HTTP, JSON, REST);
Tools & Skills:
Experience testing web applications;
SQL proficiency (basic to intermediate queries);
Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Jira);
Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail;
Beyond Functional: Knowledge of non-functional testing techniques;
English: Intermediate level or higher (written and verbal).

Will be a plus:

Experience in testing gambling platforms and payment systems;
Basic programming knowledge and experience with Cypress;
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows;
Familiarity with Elasticsearch.
