Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team in the fast-paced environment of the gambling industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL);
Development and optimization of reports and dashboards;
Creation and maintenance of business analytical models;
Analysis of business user requirements and translation into technical specifications;
Development and optimization of SQL queries for data extraction;
Working with various data sources for analysis and visualization;
Ensuring data integrity and quality through regular checks;
Collaboration with business users to understand their reporting and analytical needs;
Creation of dashboards and reports for data visualization;
Participation in the development and optimization of data-driven business processes;
Support and maintenance of business analytical systems and tools;
Data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and issues;
Optimization of data collection, processing, and analysis processes;
Research into new technologies and methods to improve data analytics processes;
Collaboration with other departments to identify data analytics needs and develop appropriate solutions.

Ideal profile for the position:

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline;
1+ years of work experience as a BI Developer;
Strong problem-solving and communication skills;
Experience using statistical computer languages (SQL, Python, Excel etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets;
Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc;
Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI);
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Data-oriented personality;
A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
