Role Overview:
We are looking for a person experienced with PHP to drive the backend team’s results.
The main challenges will be to keep and improve the code from the perspective of one's experience, develop new unique features from scratch and ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and SOLID principles;
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality and stability;
- Document implemented functionality, APIs, and key technical decisions;
- Participate in testing and validation of new features before release;
- Collaborate closely with team members to design and implement scalable solutions;
- Review peers’ code and provide constructive feedback;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and project architecture.
Ideal profile for the position:
- 3+ years of relevant work experience;
- Strong knowledge of PHP 8+ and web frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel;
- Proficiency in OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns;
- Experience working with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis;
- Expertise in building REST APIs;
- Expertise with Docker, ELK;
- Familiarity with Git for version control;
- Experience with GitLab or GitHub;
- Upper Intermediate or higher level of English.
Will be a plus:
- Self-organised and proactive attitude;
- Knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js.
