App Growth Lead (ASO + ASA)

A licensed sportsbook and casino operator is hiring an App Growth Lead to lead mobile acquisition efforts and scale growth across multiple regions.

Role Overview:
We are looking for an App Growth Lead to build and scale mobile acquisition across multiple markets (starting with Portugal and Poland and expanding internationally).

This role will own App Store Optimisation (ASO), Apple Search Ads (ASA), and overall app growth strategy and execution. The role will work closely with local market teams and external partners, while building internal expertise and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. App Growth Ownership:

  • Define and execute app growth strategy (iOS priority, Android secondary);
  • Drive installs, keyword rankings, and conversion improvements;
  • Manage growth across multiple markets.

2. ASO (App Store Optimisation):

  • Define keyword strategy per market;
  • Manage metadata updates (titles, subtitles, descriptions);
  • Track and improve keyword rankings;
  • Optimise conversion (screenshots, icons, store assets).

3. ASA (Apple Search Ads):

  • Plan and manage ASA campaigns (brand, generic, competitor keywords);
  • Optimise campaigns based on CPI / ROAS;
  • Use ASA insights to inform ASO strategy.

4. Performance & Analytics:

  • Define and track key metrics: installs (organic vs paid), CPI / CAC, keyword rankings, conversion rate;
  • Build dashboards and reporting;
  • Analyze performance and identify growth opportunities.

5. Cross-Market Coordination:

  • Work with local teams to: identify relevant keywords, adapt messaging, align campaigns.

6. External Partner Management:

  • Manage ASO / growth contractors;
  • Evaluate performance and outputs;
  • Ensure knowledge transfer internally.

7. Build Internal Capability:

  • Document learnings and playbooks;
  • Create repeatable processes for new markets;
  • Reduce dependency on external vendors over time.
Required Skills & Experience:

Must-have:

  • 3–6+ years in growth or performance marketing;
  • Experience with mobile apps (iOS preferred);
  • Hands-on experience with Apple Search Ads and performance marketing;
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with data.

Profile:

  • Growth-oriented mindset (not just execution);
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity;
  • Strong ownership and accountability;
  • Hands-on and pragmatic approach.
Will be a plus:
  • ASO experience (keywords, rankings, metadata);
  • Experience in betting, gaming, fintech, or other high-LTV verticals;
  • Experience managing multi-country campaigns;
  • Familiarity with tools such as App Store Connect, AppTweak, Sensor Tower, or ASOMobile.
